Born in the summer of 2018/2019 in a joint venture with multiple award winning WA bartender Elise Godwin. Cocos Nucifera (latin for coconut tree) was a year long journey of research and taste, after winning the 2017 RDS National Cocktail Competition.
5yr aged Trinidad rum has been subtly filtered through coconut husk charcoal to lighten the oaky notes, and prepare the rum to be flavoured naturally with fresh coconut, toasted coconut, and coconut oil. Rum distillates of wattle seed and cacao were also blended into the final product for a back palette chocolaty nuttiness.
Perfect neat, mixed or as a replacement in any rum cocktail.
