The Álvarez family has carefully selected their oldest barrels to make an iconic blended rum. Each bottle is exclusively handcrafted and numbered by Vista Alegre, a renowned century-old glassmaker. There are only 450 copies of the limited edition SUBLIME in the world presented with a certificate of authenticity. The limited edition SUBLIME recalls the golden age of Santiago de Cuba. Like a perfume engraved in the memory. The aromas of old barrels that have marked the unforgettable stories told by a grandfather to his grandsons and from a mother to his son for more than 150 years. This exceptional tasting rum is the result of the marriage of two singular eaux-de-vie. The first was aged for nearly twenty years in old American oak bourbon barrels using the Solera method. The second was aged for ten years in a single sherry oak barrel from Jerez in Spain. The SUBLIME limited edition is one of the most prestigious expressions of Ron Matusalem’s legacy, a unique blend that represents the history of the Álvarez family. This magnificent decanter has been carefully shaped by hand and numbered by vista Alegre, a renowned glassmaker since 1824. It was exclusively crafted for the limited edition Sublime.
