Description
The Wickhams Road range is widely regarded as some of Australia’s best value vino. Made by the perennial bargain Yarra producer, Hoddles Creek, these wines hugely over deliver in the bang-for-your-buck department.
More forward than the Hoddles Creek estate range, this Pinot has a dark berry nose with a black cherries and plum on the palate. A combination of Upper Yarra Valley fruit and some experimental blocks off Hoddles. The wine sees about 20% whole bunches in the ferment to give spice and fine tannins. Spends about 20 days on skins and is bottled without fining or filtration.
