The Balvenie 30 Year Old is an uncommon and particularly fine single malt for which Malt Master David C. Stewart MBE chooses just excellent barrels that were set down more than 30 years back. By wedding The Balvenie gradually, matured in conventional oak whisky barrels with that matured in European oak sherry containers, David makes a rich, smooth matured whisky with uncommon profundity and unpredictability. ‘Thirty’ is packaged at 47.3% ABV to catch all the mark attributes of The Balvenie.

TASTING NOTES

NOSE Silky smooth and sweet on the nose with smooth oaky tones and insights of sugar coated orange peel.

TASTE Great profundity with rich dull chocolate, indications of plum, marzipan and caramelized pear.

Complete Exceptionally smooth and warming with delicate zest and waiting sweetness.
