Tasting Notes

The fifth in an arrangement and the primary Black Art since Master Distiller, Jim Mcewan’s retirement, with Adam Hannett expecting the rudder in 2015. Little is unveiled with respect to the organization of this whisky, aside from that the most youthful part was refined in 1992. Hannett remarks, “Just before Master Distiller Jim McEwan resigned in 2015 he took me to the other side and gave me his formula for the following cycle, Black Art 5. It was an enthusiastic minute, the giving over of duty of one of the best measures we’ve ever made

The organization of Black Art is a firmly monitored mystery, and this is distiller Adam Hannett’s first such gathering. Rich smells of fig, succulent harvest time berries, sherry, cream, and malt include on the mind boggling, botanical nose. Thick on the sense of taste, which opens dry, with creating berry products of the soil oak, in addition to dried foods grown from the ground peel. Long and drying in the complete, with plum and peppery oak.

Only 12,000 bottles were bottled from the batch.
