Aged for Twelve years in a 300 litre, French oak ex-tawny cask, TD0290 is a classic example of the Sullivans Cove French Oak ex-tawny style. Bottled unflocked and unfiltered at 47.5% abv this cask produced a mere 433 bottles.
“Quite a lovely example of a First Fill French Oak ex-Tawny cask. Neither oak nor pre-fill (Tawny) overbear the spirit. A dripping Tawny bomb is always nice, let’s face it, but what’s even nicer is seeing the soul of a distillery in balance alongside the personality of the cask that it matured in.
