Tasting note
Built up in 2005, Kilchoman (articulated Kilhoman) is one of the littlest refineries in Scotland. In view of a homestead on the rough west bank of Islay, Kilchoman is the principal refinery to be based on the Island for a long time. Developed in a mix of both Bourbon and Sherry containers, Kilchoman Machir Bay is a very much adjusted mix of rich tropical organic product, peat smoke, light vanilla and serious sweetness.
Nose: Citrus personality, brittle vanilla bread rolls and layers of rich peat smoke.
Sense of taste: A liberal burst of tropical products of the soil raisin opens the sense of taste. Warming smoke keeps on floating energetically.
Complete: Sherried products of the soil of broke dark pepper.
